PPC Voice extends SpectraMedi transcription services by combining the benefits of a handheld recorder with the power and functionality of a Pocket PC PDA.
Two versions of PPC Voice are available to capture data-rich dictation for secure and automatic transfer to SpectraMedi.
- PPC Voice Enterprise is ideal for large organizations with wireless networks. PPC Voice Enterprise uses EasyList, SpectraMedi's middle-ware server, to securely transfer patient details from your HIS to your PDA and to send voice files to SpectraMedi for transcription.
- PPC Voice Professional does not require the EasyList middle-ware server. PPC Voice Professional provides a simple interface for receiving patient demographics and uses EasyTransfer to send voice files to SpectraMedi for transcription.
Both versions of PPC Voice deliver all of the features of an advanced, fully automated dictation application and use the latest Windows® Pocket PC technology for high-fidelity recordings.
With PPC Voice, completed dictations are automatically and securely transferred to SpectraMedi for transcription. PPC Voice will automatically update with new appointments or ADT feeds, eliminating the need to dictate or manually enter patient identifier or demographic data.
